I love New Year's Resolutions - it's a great way for me to set a goal for myself and stick with it....I've always been pretty good with them as well as with Lent (though duruing Lent my mom always taught us that we don't have to give stuff up - we can also take up something good and beneficial...)....anyway...

This year...

Lose 10-15 pounds through exercise and sensible eating habits
pay down the debt I mounted during my move east
make some new friends
get a dog

Yes, I thought it was alarmingly disconcerting, but brilliant

Any man that's interested in a woman purely on looks and especially weight is as shallow as my bank account right now..

My resolutions for 2005...

Hopefully find a better suited, better paid job,

Learn a few more good licks on the guitar,

Spend more time out and less at home..

Take a really good vacation in a warm place..

Stay alive another year longer.. no "1974-2004" on my headstone!

Alright, I knew there were plenty of reasons to like you but you just listed many more above.

Random - I tried escargot at this little restaurant in Rockland, MA because the chef there was well known and learned. I did not think I would like it. But let me tell you, poached in butter, cream, garlic and herbs, I was in heaven. I thought it would be tough but no way. It was delicate and delightful. Mmm mmm...

I will always take fried cheese however!

And so much more... Today I made a turkey dinner for me and my roommate because I wanted one, but especially I wanted to have a turkey sandwich which I never got because I went to Mom's for Thanksgiving and had to leave before sandwich time. Anyway, with all the turkey, gravy and butter, coronary delight is my middle name, baby, YEAH!

Well, bad for you if you eat it in mass quantities all the time. However, most of us do not. Therefore, bon appetite!
