I really hate what he's done to NGBA. Am I the only one?

Yes you are!

I thought it was great! What don't you like about it? The way he's drawn it out?

No you're not. Probably the only song I hate live. It's a bummer because it's one of all time favorite Mac songs.

Yeah I saw a clip of it on YouTube and it seemed like he was struggling with keeping the "new" tempo... I just kinda twitched a little afterwards and said "no.. .that's not right"

Our liberating Stevie. That's priceless. Thanks so much for recording, then finding what you had recorded and uploading it for us.

The song itself sounded ok last month, but the intro to it was completely foreign to me. For a second I thought the band had suffered a collective nervous breakdown and was actually going to play a new song.

I love that she explained that Junior and Senior meant 11th and 12th years for you guys.

She modestly says that after opening for all the big names she and Lindsey were able to walk into FM with "just a little bit of confidence," but I think she really means that they were able to walk in and blow the doors off the joint.

Def one of the few times I've felt let down by a Buckingham arrangement.

She didn't on the first night. She may have been briefed by the promoter, because the slight modifications helped get more cheering to the bits she was used to having cheering. Sometimes if an audience doesn't quite get what's said, it can throw them into a state of thinking for a few seconds rather than reacting.

I love these recordings - thanks so much StreetAngel86!

It's one thing to prattle on in front of Anglophones, but I wonder what the Dutch, German Swedish, Danish and French audiences thought of her rambling monologues. I suspect they just kind of stared at her puzzlingly and just kind of nodded like, "okay... I think we're supposed to clap now..."

Oh my goodness. What about Lindsey's speeches, filled with psychological probing. Those could not possibly translate well.

But maybe things have improved a little over time. Remember how everyone was silent for Sardonic World in the United States. What if he'd tried whipping that out to international audiences? How painful.
