Anyone else here a fan of this band which Minnesota can proudly claim as its own?

You aren't going to get much better harmonies that Mark Olson and Gary Louris in my opinion!

I saw the Jayhawks probably 10 years ago now when they opened for Matchbox Twenty. I definitely remember liking them!

louie - that must have been a great gig! Mtahcbox 20 are brilliant and I've been a fan of theirs for years. As for the Jayhawks - most definitely!

Favourites include: Save It For A Rainy Day, You Look So Young, Big Star and especially Bad Time!

FYI: The woman singing backing vocals on Bad Tome is Sharleen Spiteri from the Scottish band Texas. I dunno how big they evr got in the US but they were massive in the UK in the late 90s - early 2000 and are still going, Sharleen can SING!
