Blue Lamp was indeed the first to be heard of solo Stevie. I was still a teenager and a rabid fan at the time and the Heavy Metal soundtrack was released about a week before the single SDMHA .I remember thinking that it was different and cool at the same time .I viewed her as a Goddess back then and she could do no wrong.

I don't understand why people champion Blue Denim or Blue Lamp. They both suck.

I don't understand how people think Talk To Me is a great vocal or RAL is a good album.
They both suck

I don't understand why people think that $tevie is still a good singer, or that Silver Girl is a good song.
They both suck.

I like Miranda, Bleed To Love Her, and I'm the one of the three people born that loves What's The World Coming To.
They don't suck.

Bleed to Love Her and Steal Your Heart Away are actually OK for me, and his production work on Stevie's songs on the album is amazing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one

My top 3 Lindsey songs from SYW for sure. I don't understand why everyone hates WTWCT. It's very benign and inoffensive, like what is there to hate lol. I will say that it didn't translate as well on the tour but oh well.

My favorite 3 SYW songs were Miranda, Thrown Down and EFO.

Silver Girl was awful. So was Sweet Girl. Down with girl songs.

Well, I don’t like those two songs either. But I love Rose Garden, Leather and Lace and I am very warm to Too Far from Texas. She should have released a country album 20 years ago.

WtWCT should have been the lead single
