Default Fill in the blank:The thing that surprises me the most about the Boston DVD is...

Hopefully it will be something positive, but whatever floats your boat.....

The thing that surprises me the most about the Live In Boston DVD is: That 'Gyspy' is one of my favorite moments.

...that it's so good, I can sit down and watch it all the way through without skipping a single song.

Ditto on that for me - I never cared for it live, but I love it on the DVD.

The thing that surprises me most about the DVD is how great Stand Back is - I didn't think it could compare to actually seeing it live, but WOW!

The thing that surprises me most is that the production is really bad. I mean, they sound fine, but the video production? A major disappointment, in my opinion.

How transcendental Beautiful Child was for me.
How much i noticed that Lindsey's eyes are actor-expressive
How during Stand Back, arguably my most favorite favorite, had me thinking, "I need to hear it again live, I need the thrumming to envelope me" basically it was too quiet for me when heard this way. (Do not have good T.V., so..)

Really? I think it's one of the best filmed ocncerts I've ever seen. If you want bad, check out Sheryl Crow's "C'mon America" DVD. It's so bad I tried to bring it back.

This may seem trivial and we should all be so over this but I was really surprised that Stevie was wearing her frankenboks through most of the show! Even on the picture on the inside of the cover where she's posing with one leg up on the drum riser she has the frankenboks on, yet the shot of that same pose on the dvd is with the boots......what's up with that.

P.S. I'm new here....So hi everyone! I'm also known as CanFan on Mick's board.

That Rhiannon kicks ass on this dvd! I never even cared for the song before and now I am in love with it.

Exclamation

how quiet the audience is...Wake up folks, This ain't no library

Seriously, I am surprised at the volume level on "Say Goodbye". It sounds odd when the volume drops and then returns to a normal level, Really bad editing!

I haven't tried this particular bottle yet..I was kidding with Madformac, coz he was the one who brought the bottle for me from Spain.

Thujone is a chemical found in absinthe (different levels depending on what strength of absinthe). It's chemically similar to THC found in marijuana, and can cause mild hallucinogenic trips.

An article I read about it recently on the net described its effect as "a cross between pot, ecstasy, cocaine, strong coffee, and vodka."
