Sara Question
I was listening to it for the millionth time and I wondered, were the backing vocals a bunch of Stevies, or are Chris and Lindsey in there too, or both???
It's beautiful either way but I've always liked to this that Lindsey and Christine we're doing harmony parts, giving the song one of it's "it" factors that makes it better than the demos.

Sara
I've always thought that both Lindsey and Christine sing harmonies on this.
It's always been my favourite Stevie song. I wish they'd done it in London last year. Gail |

I think, on the final version, that's Lindsey and Christine. Doesn't Lindsey sound great harmonizing on it live? "Well, I could go anywhere! Anywhere! ANYWHERE!!!"
Interesting note: on the demo from the Tusk reissue, the original backup singer is Annie McLoone, although she is not credited. Here is her statement on it: Annie speaks about the Sara demo |
