Default Unleashed with no say you will

Wondering why no say you will was played during the unleashed tour, I've been big on say you will this month, and I dont know why none of the songs from it were played

Thye are playing the hits.Alll of their hits at least on this side of the pond were produced by the "Rumours" lineup 1975 -1987 .When that lineup ceased to exist the top 20 string of Billboard pop singles did too.I now believe if Christine had fully participated in SYW it would have sold 2 -3 million here instead of just under 1 million. But even considering all this it is still odd that they would not play anything from their most recent album and the only album featuring the current configuration of Fleetwood Mac.

Which ones would you like to have heard?

I do think they could fit in one or two, but bottom line is - I would RATHER not sacrifice anything from 1975-87 in favour of "say you will" songs.

I remember a previous thread thought they should do more "Tango in the night" songs on the UK leg becasue of that albums popularity over here, but i really can't see it.

I think if they had done "Thrown Down " and"Running Through the Garden" which was dropped from the set before they got to Norcal on the SYW tour ,I then would have gone to see them on this tour.As for playing Tango in the UK that album's massive hits there were both Christine songs .Seven Wonders as good as it is did not even make the UK top 40.

Believe it was dropped after the very first night in Columbus! I really think they should have done at least one song from SYW. Additionally, I know it's tough to pick which tunes to remove, but there should be at least 1-2 songs additional from each of the 80's albums (Mirage and Tango).

Really? I always thought that productionwise and structurally it was the direct progeny of Gypsy.

I think he is trying to say that since in his opinion Dreams and Thrown Down share the same bass line you can go to the concert and listen to Dreams which they will surely play and it's nearly the same as listening to Thrown Down which they will not play.

Man, I'd LOVE to hear them do Thrown Down. It's fantastic and it seems to be a real fan favourite but, sadly, neglected...

Yes, I mentioned earlier about how I'd love to have Seven Wonders added to the UK/Europe dates. I knew the other hits from Tango were Christine ones so thought Seven Wonders would be the only one we had a chance of hearing. I had completely forgotten that Seven Wonders didn't do well over here though. This makes me sad. Oh well, never mind.

Would have loved to have heard something from SYW. I remember when the first concert audios were coming out, that was one of the first things I noticed. It would show that they are really embrasing the newer material, if they did a SYW song or two!!

SYW doesn't fit into the "hits" format but many of the songs in the Unleashed set aren't hits either (GDW, Storms, ISA, MM). I think Say You Will and/or Peacekeeper would make nice additions. They both got a good audience response during the SYW tour and seem to have had enough radio play that they're at least somewhat recogonizable.
