Question New Tour-Bare Bones or the Whole Enchilada?

Hello once again fellow Ledgies. With the upcoming tour, I've been wondering just
who exactly we're gonna see on stage? Bare bones quartet or an entourage?
I have mixed views on this.. Whenever I see a solo artist, I've never really cared who
their backing band was... But I 've always thought it was kind of cheesy for a BAND
to bring all kinds of "extras", even if it's for the sake of "reproducing" what was
recorded. What do YOU think?

PS-I mistakenly posted this thought on the S.Nicks board first. Sorry!

Default Great Question!

I have thought about this also. I'm sure there will be the "back up band" (like the DANCE) but I would love just the fab 4. I know they need addional guitars and a paino but it would be real cool to have just Lindsey and Stevie on vocals.Depending on what songs they decide to do will determine what the "band" is going to look like.I say go accoustic and mix it up a bit. The Dance was the greast hits tour. Chris is gone ,its not the same so take advantage of the new line up and lets see a new show!

Chris is gone.. but not forgotten!!

If they have a substantial instrumental/vocal entourage, even back in the shadows, then they can use them and not use them for songs respectively. Isn't that a good option?? Best of both worlds??

I doubt that this tour will be without the Mini-mac. It's not as if The Dance tour was the first time the band used back-up singers and musicians. At least as far back as the Rumours tour they were using back-up...
If I remember the intro to GYOW from a '77 show, Lindsey says something like: "...Ray, who takes care of my guitar plays acoustic on this one..."

I liked how the Dance was...the backround. I want warm lighting and rugs on the ground like CSN&Y had I heard...and didn't Tom Petty have that too?

But I want it simple...but I want it rocking too! We want more fans...we want more praise. I want FM up there with the BIGGEST and BEST bands ever. Too many people still think they were some 70's drug band...we need to convert them...so this tour is the one to do it...with like total rocking good music and Stevie and Lindsey TOTALLY have it in them. You know Lindsey is like dying to perform again since its been 5 years and Stevie just gets better and better. She just needs to take care of that voice because we don't want cancelled shows !

I'm thinking it'll be exactly the same lineup as "The Dance" tour, just minus Christine. (that's who all reconviened at Clinton's Farewell)
