I think she sounds okay on Stop dragging my heart around for a seventy odd year old.
Haven’t heard the other songs..so can’t comment.
Lindsey performed Landslide not that long ago, so why shouldn’t she join in on Secondhand news...
I don’t think either of them chose the songs.
Also is Keith Urban ...K.d. Lang’s kid brother ?

i agree with you that neither of them probably chose the song. and i have no problem with that SHN from NYE, unlike many others apparently.

i do have a problem with false equivalency though:
Lindsey wrote parts of the Landslide he performed. and he did not throw her out of their band. she didn't want him in the band and supposedly wants nothing to do with him while he wants peace and truce at the end of their long road.

you can blame all sides for their continuing bickering and eventual fallout, but at the end one side did everything to avoid it and other side still went ahead with it - and then lied about it.

I see that she is going to be on of the headliner at the Bottle Rock concerts in Napa Ca. It is less than 2 miles down the river from my place..Maybe I'll sit on my patio and listen

I find it curious as this is the same woman whining a handful of years ago about working too much and wanting to just chill out in her trailer in Malibu ..... and the woman who talked about the grind of FM all through the 76-80 years and how it was "like being in the Army". Now it's her full blown addiction.

When I left my place NYE(last Tuesday) I could hear it all just fine from my front door. I considered just hanging out there, but figured I couldn't give it a proper review from that vantage point.

And I couldn't have recorded the lovely video of her ATTEMPTING to sing Edge.

Right ..and if it gets too discordant ,grating or reminiscent of a nanny goat in heat I can always shut the patio door and see what is on netflix.

I could actually see one of the big screens from the sidewalk in front of my door.

But it sounded something like this -

Yes and now she is like the Energizer bunny. She keeps touring and touring and touring and generally seems to be happy singing the same songs forever and ever and ever.
