I've been thinking though. Its possible that he's silently been suffering from heart problems for many years now and its just finally reached its peak.

Maybe, but the man I saw perform in LA in Oct/18, he was really giving it....more than I could.

Here's a conspiracy I've been thinking about for a while. What if the illuminati is real and THEY'RE the ones who are truly behind Lindsey's firing? Maybe rest of the band made up some fake reason behind him getting fired because the illuminati threatened to kill them all if they told him what was really happening? Ok, no more youtube for me today...

Agreed. If Old Goat Breath is your reason for living, you should probably stick to her forum, or that Present Band one.

If OGB is your reason for living you should probably need to visit a shrink.... and take OGB with you.

You better watch yourself because I have a feeling you are crazy AF.
Holy crap, that's very scary. I'm sorry you went through all that.

Stevie isn't the reason I'm saying that. Just kinda makes more sense since they were all getting on so well a few years ago

Years.? these people's relationships have been so volatile for so many decades that things can go all bad in an instant. Which makes it even more mind boggling that Lindsey was fired for an alleged smirk..for fuk's sake these two have tried to kill each other before.

Really!! I'd like to know what was the straw that finally broke the old goat's back?! How bad could it have been? Was it just a culmination of years and years of being around Lindsey that she had had enough? That her tolerance of Lindsey had reached a new low? But even then to just axe him with no formal explanation from the band face to face is just beyond comprehension!! WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!! And then to think they're raking in millions of dollars on a tour with a setlist including a majority of the songs that Lindsey helped craft is just gut wrenching to me! This is all just so sickening and wrong.

I agree they handled things quite badly, but truth be told we have no idea what Lindsey was like behind closed doors. We don't know what Stevie had been putting up with, and frankly it's none of our business.

So while I don't blame Stevie or the band for choosing to end things with Lindsey, I absolutely do take issue with them for carrying on as Fleetwood Mac without him. After 1997, the band had no business excluding any Rumours member willing and able to participate.

I'm just surprised that Lindsey wasn't a full partner immune from firing. I wonder whether he tried to negotiate for such an arrangement when he rejoined in 1997. He certainly should have.

Does anyone know who was managing him in 1997? (We know from the Destiny Rules documentary that Tony Dimitriades was managing him in 2002, but that's five years later.)

The only thing I can think of is if he got violent with her. But I doubt he's still like that after being a father for so long.

Omg!!!! Hahahaha, this is the most ridiculous speculation ever. If he had done something like that, you can bet she would have had him arrested. Not given the band an ultimatum and had him fired and then LIED about why. And he would have known why he was being fired, not having to be informed my Azoff.

When they lied about the reasons for his firing, that’s when their whole story unraveled. If it was a legit reason, there would be no reason to lie.

And if you want to claim they lied to protect him because he did something awful, NOPE, they would have used that reason publicly to do it because Stevie would love to let everyone know how bad he was.

Face it Stevie-folks, your queen screwed up. I will admit it and I used to be a Stevie-folk. (Can you tell I’m not anymore??)

yes, Stevie stans coming in here trying to throw out their bs theories to make their queen look good are in the wrong forum.

there are enough people kissing her a$$ all over - from their bought and paid for ridiculous show reviews to cast and crew of the current fakewood who need to bow to the boss if they want to keep their job. if she managed to get architect of the FM sound and the spark on their live stage fired, imagine what she can do to any of them.
