That is so cool. I think Cyndi's both completly adorable and completely awesome, and I can totally believe meeting her would be like meeting an old friend - she seems REALLY down to Earth. Which seems totally at odds with her flat-out weirdness, but somehow just isn't. 'Cos it's Cyndi. And she's so damn CUTE. Argh!

And here is a video of one of my favorite examples of Cyndi being so GODDAMN CUTE IT HURTS, just because:

That's an unusual version of She Bop, but what a strong Queens accent she has. I swear, she sounds like someon from my mom's side of the family lol.

She was precious. Very sincere. It made me think of what people have said about Stevie. Even though she's Stevie freakin' flighty Nicks, she comes down to earth when it comes to meeting fans.

"She's a real marketing genius!" I think I would have fallen out the window if she had hopped onto my train randomly.

Haha, yeah. I don't like the acoustic version as much as the regular one, but it's still cool to hear. And her accent makes me smile. Can't imagine her talking any other way.

I'd probably fall out the window, too. How cool would that be? I've met a few of my favorite musicians and they've invariably been really cool so far, which is nice. It'd be awful if you got the chance to say hi to someone you really admire and they were jerkfaces. It's odd, though - even though I've never met Stevie or Lindsey, Lindsey somehow seems more approachable than Stevie does, even though I kind of think of Lindsey as the "grumpy" one.

I never watched Celebrity Apprentice until Cyndi was on it. Watching her fly around and be crazy was a total blast.

Yesterday, here in NY it was 103, which was hotter than Florida. That was not a typo.

There's the perfect song to open Stevie's new album.
