Question What's your cure for "concert withdrawal"?

I traveled from Florida to see the show in Atlantic City. Drove to Ft Lauderdale to see the show Saturday. Had a great time at both shows, but I'm definitely suffering from "withdrawals" now. It's not just me, my daughters are feeling the same way. It's hard to get back to the boring daily routines. We decided we should be "professional FM concert goers". Hard to make a living doing that though!
Anyway, just wondering what everyone was doing to beat the after concert blues. We have watched the DC tape I bought of the show, pulled out all my old videos and albums. I think tomorrow we will drag down my old scrapbook and go through my old concert ticket stubs and pictures.
Anyone have a cure?
We tried driving around in the car singing along with "Say You Will" at the top of our lungs, that usually cheers us up-but it didn't work either!

Well it seems this happens to most of us after the concerts. For myself, I went to another show to beat the blues. I listen to the MAC in my car and in my house. And being here on the ledge reading everyone's great reviews also helps...its hard I know.
Gosh I wish we were all super rich so we can go to every show!

Tamara

p.s. Imgypsy you have a PM!

My withdrawal has been severe.

I decided I'm going to two more shows (hopefully) and flying solo, so I'm working overtime, listening to any and all Fleetwood Mac/ Stevie Nicks records, wearing my baseball tee-shirt and thinking about it while learning to play the guitar.

It's my whole motivation.

Listen to Mac or Stevie all the time (I listened to Livespace tonight) have a little candy and think about where to see them next.

Am I out of the loop or do you mean TimeSpace?

What I do is remember there are people starving and homeless in the world. The story about Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You from the liner notes of Timespace also comes to mind. How Stevie said she was feeling bad about some things until Joe Walsh told her the story about how he lost his daughter.
Keeping these things in perspective helps. When you start feeling depressed about a concert being over, try using that energy to count your blessings instead.

What I usually do after I have concert withdrawal is to attend another concert as soon as possible. I don't mean another Fleetwood Mac concert (which I would love to do)but any other show that you were not sure about attending. I guess if I just keep feeding my concert addiction then everything will be fine. There is that magical feeling that you get when everything goes dark, the crowd cheers and you hear the first notes of the band playing. That has to be the most exciting thing in the world. I am addicted to that and therefore I am a concert junkie. I think what made my concert withdrawal worse this time is that I saw Matchbox Twenty and Fleetwood Mac all in the same weekend. Now I am even more obsessed than ever. I sure hope they come back to Pittsburgh for another leg. If they dont though I will be going anywhere within a five hour radius. I need more mac!

I figure that I'll chant along with a 16th century monks recording that one of my old professors gave me, light white candles and say a bunch of "ommmms" so that the second leg of the tour includes a return trip to Philly/NJ!

(did I actually just type that?!?!?)

kak125,
i feel the same way you do==and i`m a concert junkie too! I go to about 60 concerts a year,if not more. You are so right that its a magical feeling you get when the lights go dark and the crowd cheers and the band hits the stage--the adrenaline that courses thru me is like no other feeling in the world! i wish i could win the lottery and spend the rest of my life just traveling city to city and seeing a concert every night!
i know i am dying to see the Mac again--2 shows werent enough to satisfy me--wanna go see them in Vegas but cannot find a broker who will sell me just one ticket! GRRRR
