Thanks for posting. But, unfortunately the picture isn't showing up for me. Who's Taylor Mills?

Macfan---I'm not really familiar with Taylor Mills. I guess she's a British singer. Do you want me to e-mail you the photo?

Jessica, that would be great. I have WebTV, so that may be why I can't see the picture. But, it's worth a try to e-mail the photo. Maybe it will work that way. You should be able to get my e-mail address from the members list.

Default Chris

Some of my favorite Chris songs:
Remember Me
Why
Dissatisfied
Brown Eyes
Never Make Me Cry
You Make Lovin' Fun
Over And Over
Think About Me
Honey Hi
Say You Love Me
Songbird
Hold Me
Love In Store
Everywhere
Little Lies
Heart Of Stone
Just Crazy Love
Believe Me
Spare Me...
Morning Rain

and solo:
Got Hold On Me
One In A Million
Love Will Show Us How
The Smile I Live For
The Challenge

I miss Chris as well, but that's the nature of the beast...FM will be fine without her, and she'll be fine without them...although I can't wait any longer to hear her new solo album...does anyone have any idea when it's suppossed to come out?

Hopefully, soon. But, I have a feeling that it won't be coming out until next year since she is still working on it and does not yet have a label to release it on.

Chris's best stuff was on Tusk, hands down. "Brown Eyes", "Honey Hi", "Think About Me", she shined as a songwriter on this album.

Hi cliff dweller. Nice name! Yeah, I love Christine's Tusk songs. Still, her lyrics on those songs were the most minimal she has ever written. Very sparse, but with Lindsey's production they really shine. I'm surprised Think About Me wasn't a bigger hit than it was. I loved that they performed Brown Eyes on the Mirage tour. And there are some great live versions of Over and Over from the Tusk tour. Have you ever heard the tape of them rehearsing Honey Hi? It's pretty cool...would have been great for an acoustic portion of a concert.

Oh my gosh, the 84 tour! What memories you guys brought back for me! Me and my best friend got dropped off at the Tower Theater (near Philly) for that one, as an "early" birthday present for me, from my parents! We brought flowers and everything for Christine! We also scammed (as then-15 year olds) and eventually sat right up front and center! And flirted with Todd Sharp (guitarist) the whole time! Such fun! And, Christine was just brilliant! After the show, we were standing next to her limo and she rolled down her window and talked to us! My parents (with dog) came walking over and she just laughed! Couldn't believe that they had my dog with them, LOL! She was so nice and that was such a great night! The one thing that stands out in my mind was what striking eyes she has. The pictures of her don't do them justice!

So cool to remember all this and hard to believe it was almost 20 years ago!!

Default Christine McVie Songs

I will forever miss what might have been. God bless you Chris. My top 12 Chris songs

Songbird
Why (in my opinion these first two can stand up against any of
the Beatles McCartney ballads)
Say You Love Me (the happiest and most fun the the Rumours
lineup ever sounded on record)
You Make Loving Fun (anyone else notice the almost Disco vibe to
this one; brilliantly produced)
Think About Me (hands down her best rocker)
Oh Daddy
Brown Eyes
Over My Head
Temporary One (a nice final song with the Mac)
Hold Me (one of the coolest hits of the 80s)
Love Shines (great, but would have kicked butt with
Buckingham/Nicks)
Over and Over

Sorry Tango fans. None for me thanks.

Christine is one of the most underrated and overlooked songwriters of her generation, imo. Wonder if being in the same band with Stevie hurt or helped? What say you all?
