Default WTWCT, a version?

I just saw in a spanish review of SYW (I'll translate and post it one day) that What's the world coming to?, although appears signed by Buckingham& Raymond, is a version of a song from the band Dear Mr. President, which Julian Raymond was in. I found the following link that seems to confirm it, http://www.roadkill.com/MDB/album.phtml/2815 , but I haven't found any MP3 of the original version.
Has Lindsey talked about this in any interview?
I also wonder why Lindsey appears in the songwriting if this is true (the article said: this is just how this business is)

Héctor

BTW, it was a quite good review!

I'm almost sure that's just a coincidence that the song titles are the same......surely Lindsey wouldn't give himself credit for writing a song that he didn't write

I've been searching and all I'm coming up with is the tracklisting of the album it appears on but no lyrics. Surely someone can confirm the only thing in common with the songs are the titles

Well, if Lindsey changed any of the lyrics, he can be credited as a songwriter, as long as Julian Raymond is also (and he is).
