Default Forgiveness

Hey, since a thread was started about "Anything is Possible," I thought why not start one for my favorite song on ITM: "Forgiveness."

I LOVE this song. It kinda' reminds me a little of "Sugar Daddy," though it's more mature in its lyrics and its music. Each section of the song is really well constructed, the catchy verses and the stunning bridge section hang together perfectly.

Thoughts?

It's not my favourite on ITM but I still like it a lot

Some of the lyrics are quite intriguing "Johnny says come around if you dare"

I wonder if that's her brother warning off the man who hurt her so much? You come around here and bother my sister and you'll be picking up your teeth with a broken arm. Or maybe that's not John Perfect's style.

I love this song. It's my third favorite on the album. I love how it changes at the end....from the very catchy chorus to "For the spell that you cast and the ties that bind." What a great way to end the song.

By the way, I'll bet that "Johnny" is John Perfect.

I just love this song! It's such a bitter sweet song for me in so many ways though. I just love listening to it because I just love the song style and the way it fits into the album so well. And on the other hand it always reminds me that the album is almost done! Another thing I love about it is that Christine's keyboards finally show where they have been hiding on the album! The song just rocks and catchy as hell! Peaked at # 1 on my count down... oh wait that's almost every Christine song, well more the merrier!
