Default New Mirage tour live album on Spotify

Anyone else see this? It appears to be the full set from the 1982 The Forum shows. The album cover is really good. Don’t Stop is the early release.

Hopefully this means we’ll get the videos soon too.

This is really cool to get an official release of a Mirage show. I was really, really hoping the next release would be one of the complete tusk shows we don't have i.e. Richfield etc. Maybe next year!

They did quite a few shows in Richfield (Cleveland). I would love a "real" show from those. Not the Mirage Tour LA, labeled as Cleveland.

I wonder if they have footage of the full concert video some where, or if the Masters are lost (for film).

I am kind of surprised they went with a Mirage show for an official release, primarily because it's probably the one tour where Stevie's voice was the weakest link (it did make for a killer sisters of the moon!)

She shines, however. The Chain howls are iconic, in my opinion. And most every other SOTM is boring compared to the HBO version.

All true AND I absolutely love Lindsey's guitar solos on Rhiannon/Sisters. It's also the only tour where his electric guitar sounds completely different because of the mesa boogie effects board he was using. Hold Me from the deluxe live album is still one of the tracks I go back to and play all the time.

Not really. There are several nights of Sara in 1982 that Stevie hits the high notes on Sara as if it was December 1979. She was at peak powers but yes her voice was fried on some songs. That HBO Rhiannon is an example.
If you check on the Mirage show in NJ and play Sara its never been sung the same way since. It was the last days of the super high ooooooooooooo's that she pulled off perfectly. We also get the vocal bridge on Gypsy that she does quite nice.

I'm nitpicking, but it would have been an extra bonus had this release been from 10/22. We only have Brown Eyes from that date as an official release.

The guitar was also iconic. And the Brits were delivering. They seemed fresh and worn out at the same time.

From ultimate classic rock site, which I think they might have their facts backwards. Brown Eyes is the only track labeled as 10/22 on the deluxe Live album.

All of the Mirage live tracks on the Mirage box are not specified by date, they all say 10/21-10/22. So we don't really know which is which. There's a confusing game via process of elimination awaiting us lol.

Among the nearly two dozen tracks on Mirage Tour '82 are six previously unreleased recordings from the Oct. 21 concert, including "Landslide," "Don’t Stop" and "Never Going Back Again."

Other songs recorded on Oct. 22 have appeared on other releases over the years, including Live Super Deluxe Edition, Mirage Super Deluxe Edition and the 1983 concert video Mirage Live.

Since this release is clearly labeled as 10/21 - I suppose you could compare these tracks to the video release and any tracks that don't match would presumedly be from 10/22.

Disregard: this release is a mix of both 10/21 and 10/22.
