I want that Tusk gold record!

Or the gold star thing from the Walk of Fame!

Wow some of these are absolute treasures. A scrap book from the 1977 Australian tour. OMG! It's so sad to see her RRHOF award for sale. Chris had such good taste that it would be a dream to have any of it. If I was filthy rich I would buy her awards and donate them to some rock museum or give them to her nephew. I just cant stand the thought something like that in some box collecting dust in some millionaire's storage vault or collecting dust in some place.
On another note, I was recently on Ebay. Anything with Chris's autograph is extremely expensive. The price for her signature has went way up.
During the last auction right before her passing I was going to buy something. I found something that was not too expensive at starting bid and thought there would not be a demand for. I was wrong. The appraised value was a few hundred and it sold for $4000. Yet bigger stuff sold for way less. Seriously though, how do you put a price on some of this stuff. I love that Stevie refused to let her old organ be sold or given away in 1998 and she kept it.

So, this is a dumb question, but I'm a virgin.

So this is listed as being a sale in Nashville. Is this something I can GO TO, or are they online only? I mean, why would they say it's in Nashville, if you can't attend it in person?

EDIT - never mind. I figured it out. I hadn't clicked on the link. It's at the Musician's Hall of Fame. I can walk there in less than 10 minutes!

This photo fascinates me. It looks like its from 1984. Chris wore that animal print on her solo tour. Chris and Stevie did not really cross paths in 1984. The embrace is so cold that I love it. Usually its all hugs and kisses and sign of real affection. Could this be back stage at her LA 1984 solo concert final night when the Mac members came to the show. Stevie almost looks uncomfortable and Chris looks like...let's get this photo over with.
So rare

Here is another from the same night (show) with her and Eddy and her other guitarist?

Attn Pittsburgh fans. A plaque thanking the Mac for all their concerts up to 1990. And it is shown hanging on her wall. What a keepsake!

I will bid on some items but I know I wont win. Some of those hand written set lists, notes, and lyrics are just too special. That is not what I will bid on but find something small and special.

I sure wish I was in Nashville to see this because I do LOVE Nashville. I wouldn’t bid on anything. I would just want to be there……I question what’s going to happen with my own collection when I………expire.😕

I think that may be Robbie Patton? The guy she wrote Hold Me with. They were very close friends... I believe when she took her African safari once she started flying again, she went with Robbie.

and that picture w ed....ugh. internal cringe.

Those photos blew my mind. Any photo from Chris's solo tour is a rare treasure but back stage with Stevie is so rare. This was the year that Chris told a magazine she was not close with Stevie at all and she isolated herself in her own fantasy world. I also love it that Chris realized what rare treasures they were that she framed them and kept them all these years. *****ok you are here, lets get this hug over with for the photo**** ***Hurry up because I need another bump****

On another note, I emailed the auction and they will ship anywhere in the world. The key to auctions is not following the shiny objects that gain attention. You need to find that piece that is not grabbing everyone's attention. During the last auction I focused in on a small magnifying glass. I think the appraised value was $75 and I was willing to go up several hundred. But it sold for $4000!
Seriously though, even if I had the money I don't think I would be worthy to have some of this stuff. I suppose her estate is keeping her grammy award. Thank goodness for that.

She really liked Art Deco. And Art Nouveau.

I don't deny I would like to have one or some of those treasures, but I feel it is much more special to be on those places that were significant in Fleetwood Mac history, and take pictures there. Those are my dream. Like the Record Plant at Sausalito, the first time it was thanks to ledgie BN who took me there, 1998. The second time I took my father there and got cool pictures, 2011.

Places I would like to know are the restaurant where the first meeting with L&S took place, or the Big Love video house, the Little Lies location, the Château d'Hérouville, etc.

I bid on two things, neither FM specific. If I win, it will be a gift to myself. And a bit of her spirit in my own. Wish me luck.

I'm not a fan of artists stuff, though I do like autographs and I have had few opportunies to get some.

Ok, some things may be interesting. Signed instruments, awards, etc. But a touring wardrobe hamper? I don't even find it nice. It may be useful for a touring artist, but even in that case, he/she would use one with his/her name stamped.
