Looks like he may have had a degenerative nerve issue which was affecting has playing ability and was possibly depressed over this.

Is he wearing a clock? Maybe Favor Flav wasn't the first to do so.

Santa Monica...Could have been Stevie's neighbor.

Oh I see, It's OK when olive makes a separate "RIP _____ _____" but when I do it "we don't need all these separate threads"

Wow. It's clearly just personal attacks.

And olive, before you make an offensive response to me, understand all I'm saying is that when I did exactly what you did (made a thread saluting a music hero) I was attacked.

Everything aside, RIP Keith

Hey, look mate, it's nothing personal.

It's obviously sad when people die and it affects us when it's a much loved and admired entertainer. The sad fact is that death comes as the down side of life and hundreds and maybe even thousands of celebrities (A list, B list and however else they might be described) will die in any one given year. I for one am somewhat perplexed by what I perceive as a facination for people dying on these message boards. I know it's down time for Fleetwood Mac and there really isn't that much to talk about (I'm gnawing away at my right arm waiting for some bloody news- any news) but I'm kinda frustrated that some people seem more desperate to start threads for every single person that happens to pass away each and every day than engage in any FM -related discussion. I mean no disrespect to the memory of anyone that's passed on recently and I have no problem with people making general comment and expressing their admiration for people. If you want to start threads for every single person that dies then thats up to you- I can't stop you. I personally don't quite see the point though. For many people that die any one particular thread is likely to have limited shelf life- that's to say there will only ever be a small number of responses as part of a discussion. They are therefore going to just clog up the board a bit. Whereas, if you create one thread based on the theme of death (which, logically you have already done) then it would make sense to continue posting reflective comments and obituaries as part of that one, ongoing discussion. Knowing so many famous people will die this year I'm anticipating a new 'Joe Bloggs has died' thread almost every single day'. For me it's just becoming a little bit depressing to click on here and see 'XXX is dead', 'XXX is dead', 'RIP XXX', 'Death', 'Death', 'More Death'. I'm sure there are websites out there that specialise in that kind of thing.

Having said that sorry Keith. Rest in peace.
No disrespect meant to anyone that is no longer with us.

I wasn't disagreeing with you - I was pointing out that I was attacked when I did it, but when someone else does it - no one says anything

Perhaps it's best to let a sleeping dog lie...No need for "The Ledge" to descend into anarchy again (Tumblr fiasco)...

I told you when you were demanding the 24 karat before it was released to "pi$$ off"

And is it my fault I am loved and admired

I am not interested in your constant need for attention, and control of this message board as if it was your own

The relentless posting of content from old blogs ,self made phoney demos.

I do not want to be dragged into your drama

I do not know you
Or want to know you.

For the last time Leave me out of it

All I'm saying is that when other people make these kind of threads, it's ok. No one says anything. But when I make it - everyone jumps on me. That's all I'm saying.

Today I was thinking of Glen Campbell and Linda Ronstadt. With their health issues .
They are now not able to do what they love to do which is playing music .I did not know that Keith had heath issues.I pray to god that Glen and Linda keep their heads up and keep a positive mind .I say the same for other artists and musicians that are going through health issues.
