Default Tango reissue liner notes?

David Wild just finished new liner notes for Fleetwood Mac

Interesting tweet from David Wild. David has written many if not all the liner notes on Fleetwood Mac's recent reissues.... Could this be Tango?

Default White Album?

Or possibly the Fleetwood Mac "White Album." In either case, good news.

I would be particularly happy about it being the White Album, it never got a decent reissue supposedly due to the lack of extra material and it's my second favourite FM album.

Tango reissue would be really cool, but I would love to have a live Why on my iTunes. The one on YouTube from Midnight Special is so good. Can we get a super deluxe Mirage with a full live set though?

Would welcome either but it must surely be TITN. Too much of a cooincidental tie in with the 30 year anniversary and the seeming chronology of Tusk, Mirage... TITN.
Something to look forward to in the new year.

when i saw this on FMN&R site, my first thought was that it's for the new album.

but the pic is of 5 and not 4, so that throws a wrench in it. i asked David Wild (he follows me on twitter), but don't expect i'll hear anything back.

Yay! I hope it's for Tango! There was already a rerelease for the white album so I say rerelease Deluxe Tango and then rerelease another Deluxe white album after that.

I think it's tango too, but I have to say that the white album is the one that received the least deluxe treatment. If really there wasn't anything among the demos and the outtakes I would have settled for an audio bootleg or a DVD of one of their pro-shot performances. Someone should fix this.

According to Mick's fist book, the White álbum was recorded between february and june 1975. It's a short time considering the following albums, where Lindsey's perfectionist style developed more. So I'm not sure if there is more unrealeased material, rehearsals, enough for another deluxe edition.

Tango recording sessions lasted 18 months. But.. in 1987, according to Mick, "Lindsey Buckingham alone was fairly reticent about Fleetwood Mac". Did they just recorded enough to build an álbum? Or is there lot of undiscovered songs, or alternative versions of the singles? I hope so. Anyway I do think it may be Tango.

I really hope it isn't Tango. And Elle, I think it could possibly still mean he is working on something with the 4 person band even though it's a picture of the 5.

Middle School is the clue.

Born in 1961 would put him in middle school
in 1975. Hmm...

I wouldn't mind another rerelease of the white album, I'd just rather have a Deluxe Tango released first.

Music journalists don't typically write liner notes for new albums. This is likely a retrospective, so my money is on a Tango reissue.
