I´m having trouble finding a copy of the official peter green biog, anyone got any suggestions?

Wow, greenmanastrat - I didn't realize this book had become so rare until I took a look at bookfinder.com, Amazon, eBay, etc. Copies are very expensive! Sorry that I don't have any suggestions on finding a copy at a more reasonable price.

On the plus side, I spotted a couple of nice photos of Peter Green from old periodicals that are for sale on eBay - see attached jpg files. I believe I've seen that one from the early '80s (that was in a 1981 Yugoslavian magazine) but don't think I've ever seen the shot that's on the cover of that January 1969 Melody Maker.

Years ago I bought a Kolors bootleg through the internet, supposedly from Essen, Grugahalle, November 24, 1982. However the show has later been corrected by you, Sharksfan, as to be in the Markthalle, Hamburg, December 12, 1982.
Anyway, the bootleg CD cover had the here attached picture. Strong resemblance with the picture you provided.

Thanks for posting that photo, Wouter - that is indeed the one I was thinking of. So the photo from the Yugoslavian magazine is a little different but probably shot during the same session.

I'd never really checked out the old music mags for sale on eBay before. If someone had enough money, they could really put together quite a collection of these old publications that have stories about or interviews with Greeny or other members of Fleetwood Mac. There was a 1968 magazine from the Netherlands called "Hitweek" that I saw for sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/HITWEEK-3-68-ROL...item35a61ffb60. Do you remember that magazine, Wouter?
