Very tough. Stevie's songs here are first class. All 5 of them. Love Over & Over, Tusk, Walk a Thin Line and I Know I'm Not Wrong.

Even though Lindsey's songs are my favourite on Tusk as a whole, Sara and Over and Over are my favourites.

Christine - Over and Over
Stevie - Sara
Lindsey - What Makes You Think You're the One

Christine's Brown Eyes is another one of my favourites from her, so much emotion. And Sisters of the Moon is powerful as f***; my dad was praising the ground Stevie walked on when I first bought Tusk in my teen years and would play it when I still lived at home. And Walk a Thin Line and Save Me a Place deserve a shoutout as they just hit me pretty hard emotionally. I can definitely relate to them sometimes as well as That's All For Everyone.

For me, Storms. It is the only song that has ever made me cry. Most of the lyrics align perfectly with a horrible situation I grew up with, so that song is like therapy.

I agree- I admire the way Lindsey was able to meld the three voices for the "ooh-aahs" (as shown in the Tusk documentary). I've really grown to appreciate Lindsey's songs on Tusk, and now they're some of my favorites from all of his FM work. Of course, Sara is perfection to me. As far as Christine's songs go, I feel like they're so underrated on this album! I do think Brown Eyes wins best song, but Never Forget, Over My Head, and Think About me are ALL amazing, yet so different from one another.

The best song on Tusk is "Tusk". Stevie's best is "Sara". Coincidence that those were their two most esoteric hits. I think my favorite Chris song is "Honey Hi" but I'm not sure if it's her best.

Tusk has a dozen standouts and a good half dozen are masterpieces.

I highly respect you for those choices. I simply cannot point out a best song. Not even ten best songs. I may be able to make a 20 best songs-list in no order, That's all.

Agree 100% with you!!!!!
I think Sisters of the Moon is the best of Stevie, but Over & Over and WMYTYTO are amazing works of Chris and Lindsey!
It's a very difficult question, so I only could say one for each writter:

- Christine: Brown Eyes (just because I think the Live version of Over & Over is a bit better)
- Stevie: Sisters of the Moon
- Lindsey: What Makes You Think You're The One

For me it's probably Never Forget. I love the way Christine sings that line "the stars must be my friends to shine for me" (which always strikes me as a rather Stevie-esque lyric) and the backing vocal harmonies are lovely. But super close second would be Sisters of The Moon. It's dramarama-y and moody and... yeah.

I do like most of the songs on Tusk a lot though to be honest, I rarely skip over any of them. I like it even more now I've finally got it on vinyl too.
