I love the Nashville bootleg. It has great sound. And a good setlist. And the performance isn't too shabby either. The only gripe I have is that Gold Dust Woman is cut at the end.

Nashville is my favorite Rumours bootleg. That was Christine's first live "Songbird". Just before they did "Songbird", she mentioned that they'd never done it live before & probably would never do it again. Little did she know, she'd do this song hundreds & hundreds of times more.

Isn't the crowd really loud at this show (esp when she's trying to do Songbird), and John tells them to turn it down or something? I love this show also; Chris expecially is adorable.

I think you're right. But, not before "Songbird", after she finished. I think he said, "What do you think this is, Rock & Roll?" I think Chris also made a pretty funny comment about playing the chair on "Second Hand News". Those two had a pretty good rapport going during those shows around that time.

I just put the Nashville bootleg up on Dime a Dozen last Friday.. .Since then about 1,200 people have downloaded the show... and nothing but positive remarks about it's quality...

I personally think it's the best Rumours Soundboard out there... And like one person said.... it's got a warmth to it with just enough audience to give it depth or something like that...

I just put this show up on dime... You'll like it:

Fleetwood Mac
Live in Nashville May 21, 1977
Nashville Municipal Auditorium

(Soundboard)

This is a recent cassette transfer and the sound on it is outstanding. I think it's the best sounding soundboard of the Rumours tour - and an upgrade from what I've previously heard of this recording. It's a seemless recording meaning there are no cuts or edits between tracks. There is a very slight cut at the end of disc one, but it's right at the end of Gold Dust Woman,no vocals are cut. There is also a slight cut in at the beginning of disc two, but again no vocals are sliced off.

I have no info on who taped the show, but a big thanks to everyone responsible for getting this tape transferred - it's a really great sounding show.

Artwork included.

Chris is telling the soundman to turn it (her mix) down. Not the audience! The audience isn't plugged in to Chris's monitor!

Right near the end of the show, before the encores as they are walking back out on stage - the audience with all their cheering for them caused John to say something like.. "Keep it down.... What do you think this is Rock and Roll?"

When she said that, I had always assumed she was referring to the audience.

The three soundboards in circ from that time -- Oklahoma City, Nashville & Little Rock -- are all essential.

Please support Fleetwood Mac. Do it for yourselves. Do it for the world.
