Karen's sister Kelly got busted trying to bring coke into England. The question is who was she bringing it for? Did Rupert really suggest to Stevie that she should do some coke to further her creativty during the recording process? Not a whole lot has been discussed about that incident. In fact, it got swept under the rug pretty quickly and then stayed there.

No questions asked?

After Stevie refused to "use" the cocaine, Rupert reportedly
dumped the white powder in the Severn River. Sort of Boston
Tea Party style.

Then Stevie not being one to waste any chemical, raced to save
the package floating just out of reach. All was not lost as Stevie
caught a glimpse of herself in the reflection of the water. And
it reminded her of all those times she'd snorted the substance
off a mirror. All the while wondering what was happening to
the girl on the other side of the mirror.

So at least we know where she got the title for the album.

Its hard to believe if she does not like Europeans when she and Lindsey join a band with 3 of them in it 40 years ago.She would of quit along time ago probably back in 1981 and concentrate on her solo stuff and never look back at the band.

There is alot of great artists and bands from other countries that never get promoted over here in the states.

I guess it has to do with the promotion team to get them over here and abroad.

I think it's a logistical nightmare for most artists, so they choose not to tour overseas. Fleetwood Mac is a huge powerful machine, so they have the resources and "brand recognition" to do these cumbersome tours. Unless there's a promoter that's willing to take on the huge responsibility of managing such a production, Stevie's not going to tour overseas.

Even when she was "in" Europe to promote In Your Dreams, she didn't tour Europe (aside from the Hard Rock Calling Festival).

I've been watching a lot of videos from when Stevie's promoting her albums and each time she says how she wants to tour Europe.

Now, if she didn't want to tour in Europe then why would she say she wanted to when she could've just kept quiet and not mention it at all. To me that's very weird.

One good example is the '85 interview on YouTube where she says how she 'can't wait' to tour Europe and get on the road even though she didn't tour Europe and Rock a Little ended up doing well in the UK and the rest of Europe.

STRANGE.

I would love to tour Europe.I'm tired of seeing the world via Google maps and Youtube videos.

I agree with "SpyNote" Daniel. The logistics and the cost of lugging along the crew and equipment and what ever else is involve for a solo tour.I hope that she or even Lindsey goes over and entertain you guys over there.

I dont know if its easier to rent the bulk of the sound and light systems abroad then shipping the equip that they use here in the states. They only haul their instruments and Stevie's wardrobe over there.Maybe somebody in the biz can chime in and answer on how they do it .Thanks in advance.

I don't think touring Europe would be any more or less of a hassle than lugging their gear to only do 6 shows touring around Australia. Im sure she would make tons more $$$ touring Europe, so yeah its pretty strange and disappointing for her fans over there that miss out..

That's a good one. What kind of person asks someone who almost died from substance abuse to drink or use drugs again?

Stevie told me and another fan IN PERSON that a European tour would happen at the IYD signing in 2011. She said "possibly November", but it never happened.

From what I know, she was meant to tour Europe for "The Wild Heart" AND "Rock A Little", but on both occaisions, Fleetwood Mac commitmenets (and rehab) got in the way.

It wasn't long after the IYD signing that Stevie's Mum got ill, so perhaps that held her back?

I honestly think she'd do really well. Would she sell out 6 nights in a row at the O2? No. But venue's like the Royal Albert Hall in London or Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam would be perfect. Sort of 5-6,0000 seaters in the big cities.
