Default Blue Again DVD Giveaway Trivia Contest

As you know, the Blue Again Companion DVD is being released next week.

To herald the release, Mick's record label, the Savoy Label Group, has 3 Blue Again DVDs to giveaway to Ledgies.

I'm going to post three trivia questions this week and the first person to post the correct answers wins. Once you've won a dvd, then other Ledgies will get a chance to answer and win, until all 3 DVDs are taken.

Jennifer Bonita, the Savoy Marketing Manager will then send the DVDs out to winning Ledgies next week.

Good luck!

FIRST QUESTION:

While living with his sister Sally in London, young Mick got to know musician Peter Bardens. Passing by and hearing Mick practicing solo through a closed garage door, Bardens offered Mick his first ever professional gig with ______________________.

What is the name of the band with whom Mick played his first professional gig?

We've got a winner with the correct answer: The Senders. That's the band in which Mick performed his first professional gig.

I'll post a new question on Wednesday. Question #2 will be about Rick Vito.

After BTM, Mick and Rick maintained a friendship, but it was in 2007 that the two men reunited musically. In 2008 Vito became the lead singer and guitarist of the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band, featured on the debut album released with their first European tour: BLUE AGAIN.

Great idea, though....I'll be tuned in on Wednesday.

Thanks Penguin!

QUESTION NUMBER TWO:

When I look at the clock and I see the time, hear a voice ringing out in the back of my mind.

Exactly what time is it in the song excerpted above? And what award did this song win for Rick?

QUESTION NO. THREE:

In Thank You notes, Mick writes: "I do -- Till death do us part!"

Who gets this faithful thank you from Mick?

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.
