I did tan a little (but only after I burned first ) It was a lot of fun though...And for once we didn't have to go to some lame-ass amusement park. We just laid on the beach all day . The only negative was the hundreds of local women yelling "Pretty girl, hey pretty girl, want your hair braided?"

No no, to my sister Other women would stalk us through the open-air markets tho, asking us what we want to buy. If you ignored them, then they'd yell "HEY! I'm talking to yooou!"

Oh and Dissy, at the resort, they had this loudspeaker type thing that they played music over at the beach. They blasted The Tide Is High I just about died. And by the way, there were no crabs

Ugh, I'm so jealous. I had my hair braided in Jamaica and got totally ripped off, $2 a braid and they added 35 braids to the count! I counted them myself later. I'll be a bit more savy next time. It helped me keep my frizzy-in-a-tropical-climate hair under control. I'm so jealous that you had this vacation!

I think I had about 86 braids. If I ever do it again I will offer a buck a braid and I will count them myself. The biyotch got me with her sob story about having 3 kids, they're so poor there. But, she probably doesn't even have any kids! I had a cocktail before I went in, I think that affected my judgement.

Never listen to anything they tell you in Jamaica! My friend Jamie went down there and I had to wire her money because she had been taken for such a ride.

I knew something was up when she told me that a five minute cab ride set her back $45.

Plz, those women are probably richer than any tourist whose hair they braid.

And btw, you can haggle with them and get the price down ....
