Well....No offense. But does it matter? I mean, there's nothing that can be done about it now. So why not look at it with levity and use humour to find the silver lining? Isn't that what people tend to do? People always use humour to make themselves feel better. It stops people breaking down in the middle of the street because a Monkey from 3000 miles away stubbed its toe, or something equally redundant.

Everyone deals with things differently. Not everyone was traumatized by the event and for some, humor is an expression of relief.

I didn't feel a thing.I know yesterday I was outside washing my cars.I did felt the ground shake. It was the constuction down the street pounding and digging in the road. One I did felt the gound shake also an explosion was more then a year ago when the power company along the Connecticut river exploded due to natural gas leak.which is a good 15 miles from my house.

Sorry if I'm "taking it lightly" but seeing I live ON Loma Prieta (the mountain fault from the 1989 earthquake) and I've been 2 miles from the exact origin of some huge quakes.... Trust me when I say they just aren't a big deal. The most I've ever seen happen is like, a glass falling off the edge of a table.

Still, it's not being taken lightly. Everyone on this side of the country was really surprised. All over the news. Local and national. Work places evacuated. My uncle works on the 24th floor in Philly and was sent home. My facebook news feed blew up when the quake happened. I'm not freaking out about it or anything. I thought it was pretty awesome that we got to experience something like that - it's so rare. And luckily it was small enough so it couldn't cause much damage.

Wow.

I'm just going to leave this here...

"Hearts break, hearts mend... love still hurts. Visions clash, planes crash... still there's talk of saving souls, still the cold is closing in on us. We part the veil on our killer sun, stray from the straight line on this short run. The more we take, the less we become... the fortune of one that means less for some."

I can be such a "B" sometimes. I'm really working on that though. I'm chosing "the ledge" as a place to start being nice to people that normally I wouldn't be nice to.

Oh dayum! There goes that "B" again! Bare with me guys!

Jtis.....
