what should LB do before FM tour

I like less-is-more when it comes to production and instrumentation, but I do wish he'd polish up his vocals a bit more. No shrieks, no whispery breathy stuff, nothing sped up or slowed down... just the powerful and passionate vocals of Lindsey at his best.

Like his disliked-for-whatever-reason This Is 40 songs! I freaking love them, at least She Acts Like You and Sick Of You. Brother and Sister is my least favorite.

there are some other options i could think of, like collaborating on other people's albums (we know whenever he had a couple of weeks free in 2012, he was working on projects like NIN, This is 40, or putting out live OMS), but i will offer just these 2 options for now, because they seem to be the most probable.

seems like this question has been solved! Lindsey is reportedly in the studio with Peter Mayes and Empire Of The Sun.

The War on Drugs, Lost In The Dream: This will be the album that will feature at the top of more best of the year lists than any other record released in 2014. Seems a fairly safe prediction to make. Thankfully, it really is a wonderful album. A strange throwback to so many things from the 1980s - Don Henley, The Waterboys, Chris Rea and Lindsey Buckingham - well, you'd think it shouldn't/couldn't work. But it does. Boy, does it ever.
