I'll go!

It'll only take me about two and a half/three hours to get to Christine's.

No. I don't have any reason to go to Kent so I doubt if I'll ever see it.

I don't think I'd make a special trip - I'd feel like a stalker!

Homer, you have to check out the Chris forum on the Seven Wonders board. There's someone who posts there who has seen her. She even passed Chris on the street when she was walking her dogs.

Gail, I'm sure you could find some excuse to go to Kent.

Well if I was going to France for the day I would usually go via the Channel Tunnel which is near Folkstone and I suppose I could make a detour on the way back.

I'd still feel like a stalker though!

No - too creepy!

Isn't she sort of near Canturbury Cathedral and a big castle or two? You could be a tourist...

yeah I saw that, can you imagine?! Chris stopping on the street to clean up after her dogs LOL.

that was question I thought of for the ill-fated Q&A!

Christine do you clean up the dog poo when you walk your dogs?

I think of that when people describe her as "legendary" - I bet she feels really legendary cleaning up dog mess or picking their dinner out of their beards!

Gail

I suppose I could pretend I was lost!

But you'd have to have had really lost your way to end up near her house from Canterbury Cathedral. I'm not sure there's a castle nearby unless Leeds Castle is close. I'll look it up on the map when I get home and see if there's anything close.

Perhaps I could pretend I'd just moved in next door and needed to borrow a cup of sugar

Mind you her nearest neighbour is probably about 5 miles away!

I'd just love to see what her house looks like.
It would REALLY bother me if I saw her picking up doggy doo! I'll bet she doesn't. If she won't answer our questions, she sure ain't picking up no doggy doo! (yes, I believe there's a correlation)

Do you prefer her to remain legendary?

I think the best way to talk her without looking like a stalker would be to hang out at the local pub in her small town. She admits to going there occasionally. If you dropped in on a regular basis, chances are you'd one day meet her. And from that point, you could finesse, finesse...
