For a short time, I lived in the nearby town of Portola which is pretty close to Butt Lake and Lake Davis etc if Im not mistaken...very pretty up there

I spent some time with a friend's family too in a little town called Crescent Mills, and we were there for Gold Digger Days which was a week long street festival, that was a fun time

I love that part of the State (Greenville, Taylorsville, Quincy, Portola et al)

Thanks, everyone. I wish I could bring you all. I had great Stevie luck while I was there. They only have 2 stations, and one is a good classic rock station - I heard some unusual songs and also many songs I hadn't heard in forever.

Anyway, as we first drove onto the road inside the campgrounds, SDMHA came on. Then, we brought a little portable radio, so Friday night it was all dark and foresty but with our fire, first thing we turned the radio on and Rhiannon is just starting, all spooky like. Then a few songs later they played Landslide.
Then, I was all sad because we were leaving on Sunday, but as soon as we get to the main road, oh yes, it's Edge time! So then I felt better.
Hurray.
So...Mariel...coming next summer???

I think it is so great there is a Butt Lake. It's like it is there just for me.
