Hmmm. What was is that Deep Throat used to say that was the Nixon administration's undoing? "Follow the money..."

Snow Says He Unknowingly Held Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Bonds
May 26 (Bloomberg) -- Treasury Secretary John Snow was unaware he owned about $10 million in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bonds for 15 months, a period when he was lobbying Congress to create a tougher regulator for the two largest mortgage financiers, the department said.

Sometimes the headlines are so badly thought out that you have to wonder whether or not ChimpCo wrote the articles.

I wouldn't put anything past them. The press is finally starting to turn on them. Lou Dobbs came right out and asked last night of the latest terra threat was politically motivated.

Lou Dobbs impresses me. There's no doubt that he's an old conservative coot, but he despises this administration.

I posted an article yesterday in the other thread about how all the political analysts were saying that the terror threat is total BS and a ploy to get job approval numbers up.

I know. You gotta love the guy though. He's been focusing on education lately and I hope he keeps it up.

Before education, it was the exporting of jobs. He was a tough bastard when it came to that topic!

I know, it was great. Before that, he kept a running tally of Enron execs that had been indicted.
