Blue Letter played at Dallas show?
I was just looking at the comments at www.FleetwoodMac.com and someone who attended the Dallas show on 4/30 said that they played Blue Letter on one of the encores. I don't remember reading this and I even checked the Dallas shows thread here to see if anyone mentioned it and I didn't see anything.
Here is the comment: http://fleetwoodmac.com/news/2009/01...ed#comment-178

Somebody would have said something here for sure if it happened. Must be getting it confused with another song. World turning?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.

Why isnt this song more popular. This song is a big time rocker.

Agreed. It's one of my personal favorites and I really wish it was in the set list in place of I Know I'm Not Wrong.

I doubt they play it because it wasn't written by the band.

But, they do the definitive version of the song. The Curtis Bros own version was and is left in obscurity. Had it not been for Fleetwood Mac, the song would be virtually unknown.

Actually, I totally enjoyed hearing IKINW live, but BL is a jam. Its not a Sisters of the Moon, but its a jam.

They played it in Dallas -- but it was at the Cotton Bowl in July 1978. Nice version, too!

That logic doesn't hold. They recorded it, they put it on an album and they have performed it hundreds of times on numerous tours. It's pretty much their song.

I agree - they played it throughout the first tours with SN and LB through at least half of the Tusk Tour, on the Mirage Tour, and then again on the Shake the Cage tour with Billy and Rick in 1987-88. It's another one of those songs which oddly enough was never resurrected during or after the Dance despite it's popularity beforehand.

call me crazy , but I actually shed tears of joy (not a figure of speech...I openly wept) when I heard the beginning notes of 'I Know I'm Not Wrong' at the STL show. On the way to the show I played it in the car and was telling my mom how much I loved it. I had kept myself from looking at the set list threads and was totally surprised. It's one of my absolute favorites.
