Why don't you call Christine and ask her opinion on it yourself since you said you have regular telephone conversations with her? And didn't you claim to have stayed with her over in England? And wasn't the last time you turned up on here was to announce that Christine had cancer and that is why she was no longer active in Fleetwood Mac only to blame that post on a house sitter that oddly had the same spelling errors as yourself?Cybertrolling is fine my dear and can be entertaining but at least display a modicum of credibility and class when you are doing it.

I wasn't around for this, but past posts suggest that someone was posting under that person's username, making those statements without (her?) permission.

Here's that old thread from over 2 years ago. I remember what happened. It was a sad, pathetic, disgusting thing of songbird anne to do. No true fan of Christine McVie would fabricate such a despicable lie. The only good thing about the whole situation was that it fortunately wasn't true.

I researched the old posts last night, and opted out of posting anything. Even if there's a tiny chance someone was posting in her name, I HIGHLY doubt it.
The things people will do to get attention. Sick.
I'm surprised she wasn't banned.

I highly doubt it. songbird anne appears to have a lot of trouble with spelling & grammar. So I doubt that she would be capable of publishing anything.

By the way, for those who post on the message board on Christine's website, I believe she has posted there too under a different screen name.

It seems to me that Songbird Anne starts a thread, but never gets involved with the discussions. So maybe we should all just ignore her altogether.

I personally think the cancer rumor is ENOUGH for banning. My gawd, I think that's MUCH worse than what Carne did.

hi, im actually new on these boards but i love fleetwood mac and christine so much! and ive seen this post before but wasnt signed up then, anyway i just wanted to say that this is really sick! no sane person would make up such sick lies about someone, especially if they actually cared about them! this seriously annoyed me!!!

and christines songs are beautiful regardless!!!

Although, I have to say that it won't come as a great shock if that news ever does come out about any of them (though I will still be sick about it). They've ALL been serious smokers for decades. I have family that quit smoking over 35 years ago, and they still got the big C.

I know that. That's why I didn't think the rumor was such a stretch when it first came out. You can't really completely reverse lung damage even if you stop smoking & according to her interviews last year she resumed smoking at some point after quitting for 5 years.
