Default You do or you don`t/ Bleed to love her

Hi Ledgies,
I was listening to the Bridge part of BTLH as we know it from the GOS demos and thought about the identical bridge part to You do or you don`t. Somehow to me it seems to be a better quality in terms of singing on the cradle one. All right you never know which voice machine LB uses this time or the other. Maybe back then he used one and now he didn`t...? But on the new one he seems to struggle a bit more. Or is it the different tempo? Do you think the different sound is caused intentionally? And what do you think about these two parts? (apart from that this shouldn't be used twice of course anyway )

I think I might know what you're on about, not really sure though.

Default Hey Stefan

I totally know what you mean. I for one rate YDOYD over BTLH ... but maybe I'll change my mind when I hear the new album track.
I definitely agree that the vocals of that bridge work better in YDOYD, due no small part to how he rushes them together in the latter, and launches straight into the chorus after - it's magic. BTLH? I don't know. I know I'm the odd one out, but I just don't get the big deal about this song except for its 'historical signficance' in getting the band together again. I don't not like it ... but it's a step down from YDOYD in my book. I really love that song.

YDOYD is my fav. track from all 3 of LB's solo albums. The live version is brilliant. Yea I totally hold it over BTLH, as I do the use of that bridge. There are SOO many similarities between LB's tracks, both in and out of Fleetwood Mac, but the majority of the "repeats" work really well. BTLH could have done with some different lyrics there though. Great song regardless.
