This autumn sees the release of Bruce Springsteen's 15th studio album, but you can get your first taste here, exclusively on Guardian Unlimited Music.
For one week only we're offering you the opportunity to download - for free - the track Radio Nowhere from the upcoming long player, Magic, not due to hit the shops (physical or virtual) until October 1 2007.

Magic sees Springsteen reunited with the E Street Band for the first time since 2004 and with the music kept under wraps until now, anticipation is high.

Right Click and Save http://download.guardian.co.uk/sys-a...dioNowhere.mp3 to download Radio Nowhere (PC users, right click 'save target as'; Mac users, control and click, then Download Linked File.)

I was watching the local news with closed captioning (sound was off) at the gym last night, and they mentioned that Bruce would be appearing locally at "the metal lens." Think about that one for a second.

Hey when you say Meadowlands, if you're from Jersey or the city, it does sound like metal lens
I think I should go to his hometown shows but I want to go to the Garden. You going NY'er?

I love this single. He sounds great!

I saw him a few times throughout the early-mid 80's, when he was still the buff, balls-out young marathon rocker. Those were some great shows! I'm not sure if I would be so thrilled about seeing middle-aged Bruce, especially since I haven't really been following his music for the past twenty years. Still, I wonder if Little Steven is back in the E Street Band, now that his Sopranos commitments are done. And I wonder if Patti will be there; I heard she and Bruce were separating or something like that.

Steven will be there and Patti will be there too. That thing going around that Bruce and she split was garbage.

I like the new song too.

I saw The Boss in LA on the Born in the USA tour. Yeah, he's one of those artists that if I saw them in their prime, I don't really wanna see them again. And I never really got into his mellower stuff. But if he makes a stop in Texas, I might reconsider. I mean, it's the f*ckin' E Street Band.

You guys are absolutely crazy. Bruce is still one of the best live acts in the world, and this is coming from someone who hates big arena shows. He's certainly better than any of the Macsters these days, and he changes his set all the time.
I'm gutted because tickets for his London show sold out in minutes. I didn't have a chance in hell

I'm kind of miffed also, because tickets went on sale without any kind of announcement, and I can now only get broker tickets for €150 each. I didn't get a heads up from ticketmaster at all. Big acts always sell out within 10 minutes here, it's so annoying. That's the same reason I didn't get U2 tickets last time. Or The Police. I refuse to stand in line 6 hours before the presale starts.

For some reason I could only find the Italian version of Bruce's new single. It was driving me quite insane. I finally managed to get my hands on the regular version last night.

*edit: Okay, I am so confused. It says the presale doesn't start until Sept 8th, but brokers already have tickets, and there are tickets up on Ebay as well. Still didn't get a heads up from TM though, had to look it up myself. Anyway, I will try to get tickets next week. Otherwise there is always still Belgium or Germany. They also left room for a possible extra date if it sells well.

Sounds like you might be in with a chance then. I'm seriously pissed about it. Ticketmaster had some kind of f*ck-up and all the standing tickets went on sale at 10am, an hour after they were supposed to. I may have been able to get a ticket I'm hoping there is another date or some tickets drop nearer the date.
I seriously, seriously hate the chancers who buy six tickets and then put them on ebay for triple the price.
