Lindsey - he got the production going for him.

I am the classic Stevie fan, however, no one can dispute that this is Lindsey's best work. This is definately Lindsey's baby, and what a hell of a job he did with it!

Lindsey, totally!!...He did a stellar job on all the songs, and even though I prefer Stevie's songs on the CD as a whole- Lindsey brought the house down overall with his production and guitar sensibilities.

This album has Lindsey written alllll over it.... an absolute progression from "Out of the Cradle".
However.... The best songwriting and overall impact comes from Stevie's music and passion, so I'll give the award to her (just like Tusk). ROCK ON, STEVIE!!!!! |

Lindsey Buckingham. This album has his songs as the higlights... even though Stevie's tracks make the most impressive, massive attack to the listener... (impact! that's the word ) I think the whole concept is his, and you can see it all over the album. Plus some of his songs are just incredible ("Say Goodbye", "Steal Your Heart Away", "Murrow", "Come", etc.)
Song of the moment - Goodbye Baby

It is Lindsey's album, for sure, but I like Stevie's songs better - just as I did with Tusk.

Undoubtedly, as the producer, arranger and architect of the band's sound, this album belongs to Lindsey, that can not be disputed. However, Stevie's songs (and vocal performances) are infinitely superior to Lindseys - no contest.
It has to be said that Lindsey's contributions sound quite dated, even lame alongside Stevie's more contemporary and dynamic numbers. It actually surprised me that many of the album reviews have identified Stevie's songs as being more standard stock rock/conventional but in terms of arrangements and longevity, I consider hers to be the most impressive. |

Upon first listen I would've said Stevie...simply because I took to her songs right away....as usual...BUT after many more listens...absolutely Lindsey...the production on this album is brilliant...."Come" alone is one damn amazing song...it blew me away...so yeah...Lindsey...

This cd has Lindsey all over it!
It's not like that is a bad thing.......I do adore Stevie and her songs.....but this cd reminds me of Tusk...both are totally Lindsey's babies. Stephanie
