It of course varies from person to person and cancer to cancer, but it wasn't at all the grueling experience where she was sick for 3 days straight and then when she started to feel better, it was time to go under again. She actually remained very active throughout, BUT she caught an infection and that derailed her.
My brother has his treatments every other week. His started in September and will run through the second week of February. It's usually not until Wednesday or Thursday of the week following treatment, that he starts to feel better. But, yeah, it's so hard to say in consideration to John, because we don't know what kind of cancer he has, what stage it was in when he was diagnosed, or the extent of his treatments.

Lol! Well, if song trilogies follow the fate of movie trilogies, then "You and I, Part III" should be pretty great. The first in a movie series is always stellar and gets things off to a great start. The middle movie is entertaining but leaves something to be desired. Then the third wraps it all up so wonderfully, that it makes you want to buy the Complete Trilogy boxed-set in every configuration possible.

I had just posted a short review of the 1969-1972 box set earlier, when I thought of Mirage and Tango and how maybe they could be put in a collection together. Well, to be fair BTM and Time could go in there as well.

Right now I feel especially crazy because cbsnew.com has been doing four days of live streaming coverage of JFK news, as it actually happened in real time. I would love to have it on DVD, but it's just streaming online.

Now, with Fleetwood Mac, I save some of the Youtube clips using keepvid, but there's about 50 hours of JFK coverage and it would be hard to "download," to say the least.

I listen to two guys who love Mike Nesmith and they were saying that Nesmith just did a tour this year and he has put together a live recording with four different versions for sale. You can buy one with just the songs and not Nesmith's introductions and one with the introductions included (that reminded me of Lindsey's speeches) and I just thought, "How come everyone else's fans have everything and we have so little?"

With the complete lineup (hope John will get better) they would sell far more albums and tickets. Lindsey would want her.

Thumbs up Yes!

Well for me personally, I'm all for Christine coming back in. I've never seen them all together live in person, so I think it's great. I'd even sit in the nosebleed section of the Wells Fargo Center in Philly if need be. I just want to set them ALL together again. And it would be even better still if they all would put out a new FM CD.

my feelings exactly!

i've been to tons of very different concerts this year, and met tons of fans following specific bands i saw at the time. and after seeing those concerts, learning of setlist changes from show to show, and how many of them are making available for download specific show you just saw, i kept thinking over and over: "we are following the WRONG band." if you are following the band on the road, like some of us did, you get so much more with so many of the other bands. FM really are a band you should see maybe just once, or twice the most, per tour.

one thing though that i can say for our guy (talking about LB, not FM), his m&gs were by far the cheapest and the warmest and he seems much more open to his fans, than most.

So if the remaining five tracks sound similar, then some part of their current instrumentation would probably have to be stripped away for Christine to contribute.
Miss Fantasy has a rather prominent (but not that great) piano part during the bridge and the outro.

yup. didn't someone say that was Froom? isn't he also keyboardist, in addition to producing?

He has played keyboards in a couple of bands, so it could be him.

Steve Thoma played keyboards on Dave Mason's 'Time' songs and one of Bekka's, but would they do the same thing now and leave Mitchell Froom's parts intact if Christine returned (assuming, of course, that he added keyboards to any of the other five unheard tracks)?

I love Brown Eyes...also Over and Over and Think About Me. I'm not real hot on the rest of Christine's Tusk output.

Can we fire all of the mini-Mac now?

Okay, keep Brett, because he can play guitar and keys (good for acoustic guitar and string sounds), but get rid of everybody else. Just the five. Show 'em why they're legends.
