I think it would be cooler to have Christine kind of floating around the periphery of the band (like this Maui gig) this year than to have her actually do a big album or tour with them. She's more charismatic when she hints at participation—she tantalizes.

Think how much job insecurity that would give Brett if she just hung around all tour with that "maybe" look in her eyes.

Indeed! I enjoy the rumour that her retirement generated. For a while her reticence led to quite a few minor myths too.

i like that... that she'd hang around and join them unexpectedly from time to time when she feels like it.
