Neko Case

I know the off-topic police are going to get me for this one -

but I keep having a jaw-dropping reaction everytime I play the new Neko
Case album - Fox Confessor.
And I remember reacting the same way when I accidently saw her sing as the opener for the Jayhawks years ago.

She's quite a singer and I have a feeling longtime Stevie fans will love this album. Check it out:

I love Neko Case! I saw her in Toronto for the first time last weekend, that woman has a phenomenal set of pipes!

yes probably, but more people read this one so that's why it's here.
one could argue that chit chat really isn't about music, so i never seem to go there. a lot of the posts depress me.

she's sitting out their current u.s. tour so that she can do her own right now.

sorry about the ryan adams reference. i was just going by the picture on your posts. and now that i look closer, you don't look anything like him.

i saw him not long ago out here in sunny california and he has A LOT of hair right now.

LOVE Neko Case. I think Blacklisted is her best album. Off of that album Deep Red Bells, Things that Scare Me, and I Wish I Was the Moon are my favorites. But really, I love every song on that album, there are no clunkers or snoozers. This new album is great, but to me it just sounds like more of the same---I think she peaked with Blacklisted
