Author's inquiry
Arcana,
The set list and much more importantly, the arrangements of the songs and the band's approach to each clearly mark the November 11, 1969 show as from that time frame, and not from the spring of 1970 - but at the risk of making this seem like an exercise in seeing how finely we can split a hair, I am interested to know how you came to date the March '69 show? In Dinky Dawson's book, "Life on the Road" he speaks of the Spring '69 tour ending on April first in Stockholm (he also makes no mention of the band playing in Finland) - unfortunately, there are many places in the book where his memory fails him Based on Hjort's listing of the tour dates, the band played Orebro on the twenty-ninth, and then were off until April first when they played Stockholm - this matches Dawson's account - such a schedule would give them enough time to go to Finland for a show on March thirty-first and be back in Stockholm on April first, but that seems unnecessarily complicated. Logistically, the April third date would make more sense, but then Dawson himself said that the tour schedule made little sense - any info that you have been able to gather, supporting either date, would be appreciated thanks
