Lord, does anyone remember Chess King? Some of the RIDICULOUS MTV inspired clothing I bought. I now shudder in embarrassment!

I'm not sure about Chess King, but Christine feels your pain.

I bought one item of clothing from chess king: a plastic yellow raincoat with enormous clasps on it. I kept it for torrential downpours until last years. Yes, it was a hideous jacket but everyone who saw it wanted it...

I still have a couple of the shirts....sure they're ridiculous, but they make me remember being 16!

I also have a pair of parachute pants, that I never wore, not even once.

And I bought a Michael Jackson leather Thriller jacket at Chess King. They'd been $250, and they had them marked down to $20!! Leather!! Dumbass me though,... they had the Thriller colors, and also the REVERSE colors(mostly black, with red accents). I chose the opposite(never being a MJ fan). It's in PRISTINE condition, still. Had I chosen the MJ color scheme, I most likely could've made a handsome profit, when he kicked the bucket.

I bought this picture from the photographer (along with three others) and they're hanging on my wall. Unfortunately, I do not possess a scanner.

I don't have the other two, though. Or that one any bigger.

The other ones I have are of Mick and Danny, Danny and Chris, and Mick and John--it was backstage during Christine's first tour with the band.
