I'm certain people have forgotten the rules etiquette.
We have become animals. And I'm not talking about

I've just seen on the news a report about Italian Sounding. It was strange to hear about cappuccino during or at the end of the meal, pesto everywhere, marinara everywhere, pasta as a side dish and strange versions of carbonara and ragù alla bolognese that frankly are almost hygienically alarming (I mean the egg).
I imagine it's a mirror of the fake americanization happening here, in which everything that comes from America is cool and hip, even those things probably shunned by Americans themselves and that find a make-shift or second-best audience here.

Yesterday marks three solid months of exercising almost every day and eating right. This has become a way of life for me. Every time I finish up one of my 3.3 mile walks or jogs I feel like a million bucks. I always make sure to do several minutes of stretching exercises before and after each run. My waist size has decreased by almost 4 inches. My foot size has decreased by one inch. I can see the weight loss all over myself. My face, upper body, stomach, thighs, and I even noticed my foot looked smaller in the shower LOL. The weight feels kinda slow coming off but just this past week I dropped 5 lbs. I am very happy to report that in three months I have lost a total of 23 lbs.

Congratulation Viv, very few reach accomplishments like yours, they usually lose the motivation after a bit.

Congrats Viv.I'm glad that you are keeping things on track. I lost some weight like 15 lbs the hard way the last 3 weeks with depression due to the loss of my cat plus walking, working and keeping busy here..Yes .I agree. You feel like a brand new person after a good walk.I have to look for a tread mill for the winter and walk, run on it while watching Stevie videos on TV.

Ah ah, yes it's in the DNA! Real pizza run through our blood.
How was your father sauce?
Here it's been a while since the first Starbucks opened, but thankfully it's only in the biggest cities. It's a bit strange because people actually go to it because they saw it in the movies or TV series and they feel hip, but at the same time complain about the taste and quality. Maybe it's the effect of the novelty?

Yesterday I've been at the MAMBO, Modern Art Museum of BOlogna, and I've seen the "David Bowie is" exibition. It was a very good experience, it was multimedial and before entering they gave you headphones with a special device that, depending in which room and which part of the room you were it played a different registration; if you were standing before the big screens that in every room played parts of intervies and tv performances or music videos it played the synchronized audio of them, while if you got further it played a David Bowie playlist. There were a lot of personal objects and commentaries from people who knew him and worked with him, many of his past outfits and a lot of journal entries and photographs.
What I liked the most were the costumes. I was surprised but I thought him much taller than what he actually was.
What I liked the least was the excessive multimediality, since the exibition is very large if you want to look properly to it it requires at the very least 3 full hours, and having so many things to read, look at and listen to at once made me a bit dull after a while. In fact I tried to take off the headphones except for when I had to watch subtitled videos and interviews (they were all original sound with subtitles) but I found out that even in the museum there a different playlist playing. Also it wasn't organized very good, it proceded for themes and not in chronological order and there wasn't really an itinerary to follow.
However it's still an experience that I recommend and if someone has the opportunity to see it in the future he won't regret it.

Yes its in the blood .Dads sauce was great.I miss it and add that I also miss my mothers cooking too.I have to say that I never walked into a Starbucks since I'm not a fan of coffee anymore and never mind its over priced too.I cant even imagine what the prices over in Italy are in your Starbucks. Also I dont drink Dunkin Donuts coffee either but their donuts are OK. Years ago I used too drink coffee by the gallon at the office job which was like 20 plus years ago when I quit drinking it because it was bothering my stomach.
Now its only soda pop,hot coco and some tea.

Actually I don't know how much it costs a cappuccino from Starbucks because I've only seen one when I was in Florence and I didn't want to enter since here you can have the real deal everywhere else and it costs 1 Euro and 20-50 cents, circa 1 dollar and 34-68 cents. unfortunately I can't drink it too much too because I tend have a bit of irritable bowel syndrome. I usually drink a bit of milk with honey in the mrning and then it's all tea and fruit infusion, sometimes I drink chocolate soy milk.
I've tried donuts once, they're ok but here we already have bomboloni: http://gracessweetlife.com/2011/08/b...filled-donuts/
