That's tooooootally what i was thinking...I just envisioned it - Lindsey and Don slapping each other like girls, and then Mick comes and grabs them and knocks their heads together, a la the three stooges... God that's funny in my head!!!
Wasn't Joe Walsh her boyfriend too? Man, that girl's been with every guitar player and drummer in So Cal!

LMAO! Exactly...

It's funny because I was just about to post a reply to this

Lindsey rocking out on Hotel California? Maybe.....
saying that there's a greater chance of Lindsey performing "My Heart Will Go On" in full-on drag than there is of him joining Don Henley for "Hotel California".

Yeah...it'll never happen. I mean, I love the Eagles, but I really don't know why they get compared to Fleetwood Mac so often. They have total different sounds. Has anyone else notice that they always play them back to back on the radio? Does that happen anywhere else or just here?

Susie
That happens here a bit - I love it. Probably because El Lay Cali soft rock, and all that. Also, they had the biggest hits at the same time, 75-76, were competing for album of the year together, and also are said to have really defined that sound...not that they sound the same, but again, the LA Cali soft rock stadium excess, big hit, coke head over the top lifestyle stars.....sound??????

Actually I think Lindsey and Henley are pretty cordial with each other. I saw them at the AHI after-party in 2000. They stood next to each other and were talking and laughing together. Plus Lindsey played on Don's Building the Perfect Beast album. I don't know if they're friends per se, but they obviously get along to some extent.

the chances of Linds' playing "Hotel California" with Don Henley are the same as Linds' dumping FM in favor of the rap group N.W.A. and becoming the next Eminiem (After he dyed his hair blonde, retires the white t-shirt, Buys some 'bling-bling' & pimps out Stevie and pops a cap into Micks hind-side!!!)

Oh, I'm sure they are too, but it's soooooo much funnier to imagine that they're not... Look at the awesome string of scenarios we all just made up! Priceless..

Yeah, it would be a good show, but they say a lot of things on the radio that turn out to be wrong. I'm betting this is one of them.
Did we ever find out if Stevie did that Fashion Rocks thing? You know, the one that only a radio station announced she'd be doing, despite all the official press releases that never mentioned her?

Oh man what a cheap greedy oldtimer crap that would be. Let's commit mass suicide please!

Lindsey should release his solo thing and tour with it or go on with the next project. But please leave that ridiculous rumour stand as what it hopefully is- a wrong rumour

Who would play first the Eagles or the Mac? Or would they take turns?

You asked the question just as I was going to! Would they flip a coin?

I've seen the Eagles once, and they were awesome, but I'd rather max out my credit cards on Fleetwood Mac alone, thank you! (Of course, as someone has already said, it's gonna take awhile to pay off debts from the SYW tour!)

Bring on a Lindsey solo tour!!!
