This is hard. Really hard. I love all of them.

But I have to go with Go Your Own Way. Sometimes I find the instrumentation a bit like busy, I guess, to the point that it's sorta muddy to my ears. And I feel like his voice is drowned out by it.

Never Going Back Again.

The other two are just superior to it in every way.

If I HAD to pick one..absolutely HAD to......It would be Second Hand News. I love it....but not as much as the other 2.

Never Going Back Again. Lovely. It's one of the things Lindsey do. It adds to the eclecticism and narrative of the album. But compared to SHN (one of the great album openers of all time) and Go Your own Way (the greatest song of all time?). . . just no contest.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Really??! .

Well, NGBA is exactly what Lindsey does. I'm sure it's still one of his favourite songs to this day. It's the first one of a long list of acoustic songs, that make Lindsey, Lindsey. I love it. (and it's a really enjoyable song to play).
SHN, however, is a bit overrated to me : Monday Morning, or even The right place to fade, are superior...and not so annoying.

NGBA has long been my fave song on that album- so, I voted for GYOW, but it was close between the two others!

The absolutely only reason I could chose a song is because GYOW is sooo freaking tired.

Oh man this is hard! I love all of these songs so much. Since I am a newcomer to FM I haven't had time to get tired of any of their songs!

I went with NGBA only because I wish it had more lyrically. And only because I had to choose one!

I think we all know that I hold a special place in my heart for Lindsey's music. As soon it is impossible for me to vote. I am well aware that he isn't infallible, and has on more than one occasion not performed at his best. However, on this occasion there is nothing to stand out as under performing against the rest.

Am I alone in thinking Lindsey's Rumours songs are some of the weakest of his career. They are all really just average to me. And I think NGBA is worse then Don't Stop Rhiannon and Dreams combined in clogging up valuable Fleetwood Mac setlist space. At least those are right or wrong kind of obligated to be there, but why the hell can't they ditch NGBA and do Save Me a Place instead. Second Hand News isn't bad at all but nothing special. I do like it and Dreams to open Rumours. Go Your Own Way is Go Your Own Way, the only exceptional song of the 3. Guitar solo is killer, but in the studio it pales to all of his Tusk songs.

So my vote is clearly NGBA.

I have nothing against the studio version of NGBA, but the way he does it in concert now, stringing out the notes like that -- it doesn't help the song wear well. If Rumours' fame didn't make you tired of it, the live renditions from the last few years will definitely bring fast fatigue.
