Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I think the only one I can remember really enjoying was that live cover of "Everywhere" by Vampire Weekend. I know people swear by Eva Cassidy's "Songbird" which is, no doubt, very fine, but, to me, doesn't compare to the original.

...never heard the Vampire Weekend cover, but, I have heard the new Patty Loveless cover of Silver Springs, and it is just WRONG!!! No disrespect to Patty, because she is a good bluegrass-type singer, but, she took the song, and made the famous, "I'll follow you down..." part sound like " oh, please don't leave me, I'll do anything you want if you just stay.." whereas, in my opinion, this is where Stevie is saying "go ahead, and leave but, you'll never forget, or do better than me..."

just my opinion...lol...I'm new here by the way, but I LOVE it so far....

OMG! That was horrific! It made me want to punch my computer! How does covers work....did they have to get permission from Stevie to do that? I think Stevie should straight punch them in the throat for that!

Glad we brought this back to 2009 covers. Yes, that "wild heart" cover is not enjoyable. It makes you wonder why they bothered covering it at all.
