One of my favorite songs from BOMBS AWAY!

It may be the best backup vocal Lindsey ever laid down outside Fleetwood Mac.

Is that the same album that has Spinning of the World on it?

I've tried to find Bombs Away Dream Babies on CD but haven't been lucky enough. Are there more tunes with LB on it?

Yes, Bombs Away Dream Babies has Lindsey on Spinning of the World. Enjoy.
He is on other songs as well, but not as heavily featured (from what I can tell) as these 2 songs are. It also features Stevie Nicks (Gold, Midnight Wind) on it as well.

This is a great album and a must have, a shame it is out of print. Amazon Sellers offer it, for as low as $80 bucks and as high as $250.

It was released via Razor & Tie Records. Glad I bought it years ago when it first hit the market.

Great album. I can also hear Lindsey's backup vocals very well on "Over the Hill."

Spinning of the World is on Bombs Away Dream Babies...

It is also on that Kingston Trio and Friends (Friends = John Stewart & LB) VHS tape I have...but it's a live version. I always thought they were the same recording...

But ... after hearing Richards...I'd say they are not...they are two different ones.

Any thoughts?

Half of the time, I don't even recognize Lindsey's voice when he's doing back up outside of Fleetwood Mac. You know, if it's Bob Welch or something, I'll hear Chris or Stevie, but never hear Lindsey.

Tom Petty praised his back up vocals and I felt very flattered. I love Walls to pieces, but it doesn't particularly sound like Lindsey to me.

Makes me think I don't recognize his voice in FM either. Maybe I just know what Stevie and Christine sound like and figure the third set of pipes must be his. 'Course, when he's screaming on a Zevon track or on Where's the Party (Egan) I can recognize that. I'd know the scream anywhere. It's what makes his Big Yellow Taxi so delicious.
