If it was a limited edition item, that may explain why it was discontinued.

On a related topic, I laugh when vinyl releases use better master tapes than a compact disc version of the same release.

I checked in the store yesterday and the Sku# was listed in our RSS system...its just that no one in Florida was getting it...Sooo...I guess we either don't carry it, or it was never going to be released.

I called Virgin. The guy said that they have not received the vinyl yet.

I'm trying to be hopeful. "Discontinued" means that it did exist and continue once, right? It's not like no vinyl went out at all. It's not like that idea was completely abolished. There were some and not they are "discontinued". Well, that's my interpretation and I'm sticking to it.

i called my record place in frederick maryland and they said they were getting two copies in for tuesday. looks like id better call them back and double check.

I noticed that Amazon was out, but it says that there is one for sale from a person for $59.00. That means it does exist. Here are some sites that you can still purchase it from at normal price.

UPDATE: I called Amazon at 4 am. lol. They said they haven't received any copies of the album on vinyl.

I downloaded the album yesterday and I don't really understand what the big fuss is about. Under The Skin was way better.
