Default Welcome and an Intro!

Hi everyone!
Welcome back (or if you are new, welcome!) to the lyric interpretation and article forum. For those who don't know me, I moderated this forum years ago and helped get it started and am back and quite excited to be back!

The last time Fleetwood Mac toured in 1997 we had this set up and would take volunteers to interpret the lyrics to their favorite Fleetwood Mac songs as well as if anyone wanted to post an article on this page for others to read. The interpretation volunteer would post their song lyric of their choice on this site and then other people would post their thoughts under that about what they felt the song meant. In doing this, you can use your own thoughts, you can use quotes (please provide the source), you can interpret the music - whatever you want! Once all the thoughts are posted the interpreter will take all this along with his/her own thoughts and combine it into a nice little essay and post it here. Marty will put the lyric interpretation next to the actual lyrics in the discography and post a nice pix with it for permanent use.

Please take some time to look at the old lyric interpretations to get an idea of how this is done.

We'd like to do the new album "Say You Will" and songs from that, and were thinking of running a Stevie and Lindsey song every 2 weeks simultaneously so would need 2 volunteers every 2 weeks. Marty or myself will be posting for volunteers when this is ready to go.

In the meantime, think about if you are interested and take some time to read the older interps if you want. We also may do some album interps when we are done with all the lyrics and can do one on "Say You Will."

Email me if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer them and we will probably put something up here with the instructions, etc. for future use by just wanted to say hello and welcome! This should be fun!
Lauren

Hello, Lauren! I’ll interpret if others interpret, too. I’d like to tackle the Nightmare or something.
