She hasn't been spotted in real fur in decades, since it stopped being politically correct. Just look at the stuff she wears now, clearly fake:

I have a coonskin cap. I guess that's worse than being a baby killer.

Coonskin cap? Baby killer? Did you have a point there? What are you talking about?

This is from the Today Show in 2003. Looks real, but I'm no expert.

I meant after reading some earlier posts in this thread and others
that people seem to have more concern for animals than humans.
Abortion is tolerated, killing an animal for a coat is not.

My coonskin cap is from my childhood days. Just so you know.

I agree this forum has gone off topic, but I feel compelled to point out the irony that frequently people who argue abortion is wrong because it is killing tolerate torturing and killing animals for human pleasure (shoes, fur coats, etc). Pointing out the inconsistencies of others doesn't negate one's own.

That is factual, no matter what your stance is on the matter. The same way when you go see a disaster movie where a tidal wave is coming and it washes away 500 people, but the whole audience gasps when the dog is about to get swept away.

I'm glad that Bob Barker is still fighting for animal rights at 91 .I'm not into fur coats. Its like skinning people and wear their skin. I thought Stevie 's were not the real thing.

Wasn't there an article somewhere where Stevie was buying 2 fur coats after she had money, and one of her friends asked her if she was really going to do that and she said, "Yes I am".

Me personally, I'm against both. But yeah most people are hypocritical like that.

There is really nothing wrong with wearing vintage fur. She never throws stuff out. She recycles stuff all the time. plus she takes care of her stuff. It is already dead. Someone murdered it a long time ago. It really does not justice to throw it out just because it was made of a dead animal. I think a lot of her fur is vintage, meaning she bought it before the age of kookie vegan hipsters came about.

Stevie enjoys steakhouses too. Next people will want her to give up steak.

I had a hamburger for lunch and my belts are all leather. Moo!
