Default The Wild Heart Deluxe

I finally got The Wild Heart Deluxe CD. I had put it in my Amazon wish list for Christmas, so of course, no one asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I wasn't in any hurry to get it because I read that there was nothing new--all the bonus songs are songs that are already out there--so I left it and I figured if anyone asked what I want for my September birthday, it's there. It was on sale the other day so I bought it and and the bonus songs are new versions that I've never heard before. I love this version of Scorcerer. This is the only alternate version of Sable on Blond I've ever heard, and All The Beautiful Worlds is a different version than the one I've been listening to all these years! I don't know about I Sing for the Things because that's not one of my favorite Stevie songs. The same with Dial the Number. And there's an alternate version of The Wild Heart.

There ARE alternate versions of these songs and there are probably demos too. Who has them????

Maria

They're not out there. The Wild Heart has seen the least demos of any of her solo records. That's why the deluxe edition is so fantastic. The bonus material makes it like a double album. You can see how she honed it down to fit the Wild Heart concept.

Sable on Blonde is my favorite WH track. This alternate version is so fantastic. I play it quite often.

There's another demo of Sable on Blonde that is my favourite version, too bad it's incomplete, I had hoped the deluxe rerelease of Wild Heart would feature a complete version of it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9fitschrje...0Demo.mp3?dl=0

Sorcerer is amazing. It could have been ready for release on The Wild Heart.

I agree. It's my absolute favorite version of Sorcerer. It gives me sort of a country vibe too.

I too love the "Sorcerer" version included on Deluxe.

But I wonder when it was recorded. Her vocal is so good it sounds like it was recorded in '81 or early '82. The music also sounds more BellaDonna than WH.

Shouldn't be surprising, all of Stevie's vocals are far superior on The Wild Heart then bella Donna
