You're telling me! Try living here for 20 years

Im he wouldn't have a 9,000+ crowd in Auckland like Stevie did, but Im sure we could atleast get 1,000+ - and Im sure he would be out of pocket either way. Stevie did tell me it is uber-expensive to come to New Zealand...

Well he could hop on the Mac's private jet and have all the gear here in 10 hrs! He'd probably break even. But at least he'd have the enjoyment of coming here! He could use it as an excuse to vacation with the kids? It's a lucrative hope I know, but one can hope nevertheless

He could use it as an excuse for a holiday. If he waits until late this year, or January next year, it will be summer...

Im hoping too my friend

Well like I said, I planted the seed with Taku...even months ago when I asked him whether or not he'd tour with Lindsey when I heard rumours of the tour. I've also emailed Jess at LiddyBuck.com about it...I'm sure she's in touch with his management. Time will tell...cross all yer fingers and toes! =)

I kinda think he doesnt mind that. Sure he'd like to sell more and make more money, but it's never really been about that for him.

Right. he's at a point now, I think, where he doesnt need the money. Any future Mac endeavours are easy cash and he's nothing to prove to the record business anymore. I imagine this is just "fun" for him.

Well he won't make the top 50 on Billboard... And the sales will be below 17,423, which is the amount No.50 sold for the week. But that's okay.

Here's the top 5 incidentally:

1 EVANESCENCE - 407,883 --THE OPEN DOOR
2 THE KILLERS - 317,583 -- SAM'S TOWN
3 GEORGE STRAIT - 230,281-- IT JUST COMES NATURAL
4 TONY BENNETT - 121,193 --DUETS: AN AMERICAN CLASSIC
5 JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - 115,741--FUTURE SEX/LOVE SOUNDS

??????

She considers TISL "her little masterpiece" -- so, to her, she is pleasing the fans?

As for new material, I think she is tired and, unlike LB, she cannot just go into a studio and record something by herself. So, it will cost her way more to put a record out

As for LB, he is promoting it with interviews and touring. The problem is LB is not a bankable name without FM. I think that is sad, but it is the facts.

Wow. How does the 2nd album surpass an already mushy, steaming pile of dung? *wink*

I dont really care how well it sells, its an amazing album that Lindsey has given us, but it would be nice for it to crack the top 100, which is something OOTC failed to do.

I'm not surprised by the sales, but I was hoping for an outside shot at the top 50. Maybe it will make the top 100.

Well we can't measure the success by the sales. Maybe the record company does. Lindsey doesnt need to sell any more records. He's made his money. TUSK was his swansong and he didnt care that it didnt live up to Rumours-era-sales. The real money nowadays is in touring anyway.

Most of what is on the charts is a big pile of poo anyway, so no, strong sales is not indicative of quality at all. But I was at least hoping it would do better than OOTC.
